I love to make things! Can’t help myself! I got into woodworking, furniture and cabinet making.
That triggered artistic phases in 1/12th scale furniture, wood turning, and picture framing.
Involvement in the bison industry during our farming days led to scrimshaw and fibre art.
Currently I am working mostly with recycled piano parts to create scrimshaw miniatures with the keys, or whimsical assemblage characters. I still do some mini scrimshaw of prairie plants and scenery on bison bone, too. I frame all my own work- handmade from start to finish!
This year Janet has expanded her themes and whimsical characters.
