Julie Williams is a self-taught artist, born and raised in small town Saskatchewan. She knew from a young age that art would be a huge part of her life.
She started by drawing the characters in her coloring book instead of coloring them. She uses acrylics on stretched canvas as her favorite medium. Julie works to find a balance between realism and whimsy, using movement and colour. Julie’s paintings been well received by many who have purchased and commissioned her work on a variety of surfaces, not all canvas.
This year, Julie will be showing at the Riverbend Co-op Food store at 218 Saskatchewan Ave.
